We all know AI isn’t perfect — sometimes it makes mistakes, or you simply want it to follow a specific flow. That’s why TakeForm gives you full control over how AI fills in your form. With the TakeForm web app, it’s super easy to tweak the AI’s behavior to match exactly what you need.

How to tweak AI answer instruction

Step 1: Open the Form Detail Page and Select a Field

Start by opening the form you want to edit. Then, click on the field you’d like to update the AI instruction for.

For example, in the image below, we’re selecting the "Business Name" field.

Step 2: Update the Guide to new instruction

In the dialog that appears, look for the “Guide” field. This is where you can customize how the AI should respond.

For example, if you want the "Business Name" field to always return "TakeForm", simply enter: Must return "TakeForm" as the answer.

Once you’re done, click the Save button to apply the change.

Now, you can check it like Demo does - upload your data and then TakeForm will handle it by new instruction.
